The Lower North Shore is really two areas. Along the rail and metro lines, Chatswood, St Leonards and Crows Nest are busy centres full of apartment towers, offices and long working days.
To the west, Lane Cove and the small peninsulas of Longueville, Northwood and Riverview are quieter, mostly houses on leafy streets that run down to the Lane Cove River.
In a building, leave the bag at your door or with reception and add your unit number when you book. In a house, the front door or driveway is fine. Either way, you don't need to be home.
